Connect a client
With Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http reminded https://mcp.getreminded.app/mcp
Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1 works — point it at the same URL.
On first use it opens a browser so you can sign in and approve the connection. You need
a Reminded account: https://app.getreminded.app.
This hostname serves the protocol, not an interface. There is nothing else to see here —
reminders are managed in the app.
6 tools. A client only sees the ones its grant allows, so a read-only
connection is never offered the write tools.
list_items
reminders:read
List the user's tracked items, soonest deadline first. The deadline is action_by (expiry_date minus the notice period), not expiry_date — an item with a negative days_remaining needs attention now. Overdue items are always included even when within_days is set.

get_item

Fetch a single item by id, with its full details.

summarise_costs
reminders:read
Recurring spend and item counts. Totals are per currency and are never combined, because no exchange rate is available.
No arguments.
create_item
reminders:write
Start tracking something that expires. Set notice_period_days whenever cancelling requires notice — that is what turns an expiry date into a deadline the user gets reminded about in time. Costs are in major units (10.99 means £10.99). Never pass a full document or policy number.

Stop reminding about an item, keeping it as cost history. Nothing is ever deleted. This changes only what Reminded tracks — it does not cancel anything with the provider, and cannot: the user must do that themselves.

Dates are YYYY-MM-DD, costs are in major units (10.99 means
£10.99), and an item's deadline is action_by — the expiry date minus the
notice period — not the expiry date itself. Arguments marked
